ModLibs - HART® Model Support Libraries
The Cornerstone software design separates all HART instrument interface
logic into modules called Model Support Libraries, or "ModLibs". Standard
Cornerstone Configurator, Base Station, and Field Station software come with a Generic
HART ModLib that provides a basic level of instrument interface support using the HART
Universal and Common Practice commands that are generally utilized in any HART compliant
instrument. Full instrument configuration support, including the Instrument Specific
commands that differentiate the functions of particular instrument models, requires the
use of one or more of the following optional ModLib Packages.
Model Support Libraries are developed on an ongoing basis. This list
shows the software model numbers and current contents of the ModLib Packages that are
available now. This list is constantly growing. If you do not see an interface
library that you need, please ask us about it.
